Jimmy's Carryout Reviews

I finally made it to the infamous Jimmy's Carryout! I've been hearing for years that they have the best yak in the city so I had to check it out. I called in my order of shrimp yak, 2 shrimp egg rolls and a half & half so it would be ready when I pulled up. When I arrived, it was bagged and ready to go. When I got home all it took was my one bite to understand why everybody gives them the "best yak" title. It was definitely worth the trip and I'll definitely be back.

Love the shrimp yak it's my personal favorite! Quick order taking! Located in a sketchy place but it's worth it!

Best Chinese food in Baltimore city. The pepper steak and rice is to die for. I totally recommend this place just order 30-40mins ahead they are always busy

Good afternoon Jimmy be in the Family since the 80 The food is real delicious fast food to stay open to to know more Chinese food

Omg...... this place has the best wings and " yak" , I don't even eat " yak" y'all betta get you some , it's the truth .....!!!!!

ummmmm i see what's going on with jimmys and all of the negative comments but honestly i have nothing but great things to say about jimmy's when i go to jimmys i spend atleast $150 just because everything on that menu is amazing i have always been treated with respect from staff even the desserts are amazing btw the black woman who created vegan crab cakes, i woulda had the same reaction jimmy had via twitter nobody wants no dam jack fruit crab cakes!! i must be missing something because what i saw online, i didn't see anything that was racist he's an owner of a seafood restaurant, of course he's going to call bs on vegan crab cakes

I had the shrimp lo mein. Didn't like it at first. The noodles are small, squareish, and not doughy. Not the round noodles with firm full chew I like. Vegetables and shrimp were really fresh though. There was a lot of sauce and it was liquidy, not thickened or reduced down. If I came back, I'd try something else. It's a carryout without tables so buy your food and get out of there. Waiting on the bench for my order, I did notice a urine smell in the corner. Adds to the ambience :-) You may want to call in and just pick up/pay.
